Ahmed Maigari Ibrahim is an associate Professor from the Geography Department of Bayero University Kano, Nigeria.
He wrote few books and articles, including one entitled “Natural resource management strategies in semi-arid tropic: the Manga grassland, northern Yobe State, Nigeria”, published in 2000.
She is a member of the prestigious Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD); International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) and British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) UK.

The General Manager of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Engr. AbdulWahab Ogunbiyi, said it was necessary to harvest valuable materials and resources from E-waste, for enhanced economic and business growth in Sub-Sahara Africa, and that sustainability of the process could only be possible by designing, manufacturing and applying local equipment to tackle peculiar situational and environmental needs.He said, it would not serve the ideal of best practices, if we were still unable to harvest, in a systematic and sound process, the huge resources potentials inherent in the recovery of E waste for enhanced values to socio-economic and social lives.
Professor Ezugwu is a world authority on the machining of aero-engine components and undertakes numerous research and consultancy projects for Rolls-Royce plc, a major manufacturer of critical aero-engine components, and for numerous international companies worldwide. All his research activities are geared towards seeking solutions to current industrial problems and attracted substantial Western government and industrial funding. Professor Ezugwu is an internationally recognised speaker on advances in the machining of aero-engine components and is regularly invited to present invited/keynote lectures in this field at international conferences all over the world. His expertise and contributions in the field of aero-engine manufacture have won him numerous awards in countries like Japan, China, United States, Malaysia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Turkey, Nigeria, etc.As the Chief Academic officer of the Institute, he always try to act as a guardian of academic freedom, of ethics, integrity, equity and the conduct of staff and students, as well as such other values as the Institution espouses.
Barr. Dr. Angya holds a LL.B Hons certification from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He was called to the Nigeria Bar October 22nd 1987 and preceded to private legal practice between 1988 and 2000,obtained a Master’s Degree in standardization and consumer protection from the Benue State University.
He recently concluded a Ph.D research programme on “The legal frame work for standardization and quality Regulation in Africa” at the University of Jos. In 2000, was appointed as the first Secretary/Legal Adviser of SON. Between 2001 to date, Mr. Angya has single handedly drafted and concluded international (and local) consultancy and inter-agency collaboration agreements. In the year 2008, he was invited by the National Film and Video Censors Board of Nigeria (NFVCB) on the rank of a Deputy Director. In September 2009, he returned to SON as the Secretary/legal Adviser on the rank of a director. A position he held until April 2011,appointed Director Administration & Human Capital Development with the new re-0rganisation. Other positions of responsibility held at SON include: Representing SON on the Council of the African Organization for Standardization since 2001 – till date.Appointed as legal Adviser/General Council to the ARSO Secretariat since 2004 till date Appointed Chairman of SONCAP implementation Committee from 2009 till 2012.
Anthony has extensive experience working in the Wastes Management Industry, and research development, both in the UK and abroad. For the past 13 years he has worked as an expert in the field, both in academia and industry. He obtained his first degree in Geography from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1997. In 2003, and was awarded a scholarship to embark on an MSc in Environmental Management at the University College Northampton, UK. After his graduation in 2005, he worked briefly as a researcher in Wastes Management with SITA Centre for Sustainable Wastes Management in The University of Northampton before proceeding to undertake a PhD research in Wastes Managemet. His PhD was centred on the development of best practice for effective and integrated sustainable waste management for the regions of England, highlighting key areas for informing future enhanced waste strategy in the East Midlands of England.
Olumide Aina, who is the Vice-Chair British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Nigeria Region, who holds a Masters in Facilities Management from University of Lagos and a current PhD student of building services at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a Mechanical Engineer with 8 years of experience in the Engineering and Facilities Management industries. He has several qualifications with NEBOSH in International General Certificate in Safety and International Fire & Risk Assessment. Kayode Khalidson is the urban transport coordinator for the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF). Mark has been a Reliability Engineering professional since 1998 with extensive experience in; Asset Management, New Product Introduction, FMEA, Design, Development, Testing, Manufacturing, Field Failure Resolution, Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis delivered across Automotive, Rail, Blue Chip Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment and Nuclear Industries. Mark formed Asset Reliability Consultants Ltd. and became acting Principal Systems Engineer (RAM) working for Transport for London (TfL) responsible for the RAM specification and delivery for the upgraded Fleets, Depots and Infrastructure of the Metropolitan, District, Circle and Hammersmith & City London Underground Lines.
Prior to Joining Control Risks Mark headed the security and counter terrorism design and engineering practice at Carillion (TPS), and previously served as a lieutenant colonel in the British Army’s Intelligence Corps. He has worked on many major built environment and critical infrastructure projects ranging from water and power networks, through government and defence facilities to iconic commercial developments worldwide, and his recent portfolio includes the London Olympics, the Shard of Glass, New Doha International Airport as well as some major development across Nigeria. He holds an MSc in security and resilience from Cranfield University and is co-author of the security and counter terrorism chapter of the Architects Metric Handbook (2012), the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Security Guidance standard (2011), and the Royal Institute of British Architects Counter Terrorism Design Guide (2010).
Lanre is currently a Senior Scientist in the Ergonomics section of the Health and Safety Laboratory, Buxton (HSL), UK. HSL provides support services to government departments in the UK, particularly the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Local Authority regulatory inspectors, but also private organisations. His qualifications include an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ph.D. Degree in Ergonomics (Nottingham University), registered membership of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (UK) and full membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK). Lanre is also a chartered engineer.

Dr. Wale Bolorunduro is the Commissioner for Finance, Economic Planning & Budget for Osun state and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from OAU, Ile-Ife and was awarded the best faculty grade, Miccom Award for the best graduating student, Society of Engineers Award for the best graduating student in the Faculty of Engineering and University Award for the graduating student with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average for the year 1990.
Mr. Aminu Diko, is currently the Director General/CEO of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission in Nigeria (ICRC). One of the main objectives of ICRC is to build a pipeline of public infrastructure investment projects using the Ministries, Departments and Agencies that are high priorities for the federal government to enable the attraction of private sector investment. He returned to London in 2004 to the FCO Press Office, as a spokesman for Iran and Iraq issues where he became the Chief Press Officer, then the Foreign Secretary’s Press Secretary. He arrived in Washington to work on Counter Proliferation issues in 2006. He then deployed to the British Embassy, Kabul, between 2007 and 2008. He returned to Washington, working on Afghanistan, until 2010 then returned to the FCO in 2011 as the Deputy Head of the South Asia Department.

Peter Carter was a career diplomat who had been the British Deputy High Commissioner in Lagos since February 2013-2014. He transferred to Lagos from Tallinn, Estonia, where he had been British Ambassador since November 2007. He had previously served in Milan as HM Consul General and Director General for Trade and Investment in Italy; and in Tel Aviv as Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General at the British Embassy in Israel. His other postings have included New Delhi and Brussels, where he was on secondment to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of the European Union, with responsibility for EU relations with the countries of the Near and Middle East and Africa.
